Can I use CopperFoot™ Mats or CopperPaw Mats outside?
CopperFoot Mat and CopperPaw Mat are manufactured with antibacterial copper. It is an INDOOR MAT. Also, if it is exposed to the sun’s rays, due to being a metal surface, it will get HOT and can cause burns and pain. DO NOT STEP ON THE MAT SURFACE IF IT IS EXPOSED TO THE SUN to prevent any injury.

Both CopperFoot Mat™ and CopperPaw Mat are fabricated using CuVerro Shield™ by Aereus Technologies which works 24/7 to kill bacteria, never washing out or wearing away, making CuVerro Shield™ ideally suited for commonly touched surfaces where bacteria is a concern. Is the Copper tested and Scientifically Proven to work?

Does the Copper stop working?

How do I clean the mat?
Use soap and water and the abrasive side of a sponge to clean the mats. The cleaner the mats are, the more effective the copper is in killing the bacteria. Do not leave a coat of disinfectants on the mat since that interferes with the bactericidal effects of the copper.
How long does it take to kill the bacteria?
Surfaces made with CuVerro Shield™ by Aereus Technologies work continuously to kill more than 99.9% of bacteria, 24 hours a day, even after repeated contamination. In some cases up to two hours to kill the bacteria. You do not need to stand on the mat for two hours, simply step on and step off. The bacteria killing process begins immediately.
